Dear Suffragettes,
Our nation, the Great Britain is in need of our help. With the progression of the Great War, it is important that we put our effort into supporting the nation. For the time being, I suggest that all members of the National Union of Women’s Suffrage stop their Suffrage movements, stop their protesting and forget about the dispute we are having with the government. Great Britain needs us, our husbands need us, our children need us and we need to help, because that is our duty, as a citizen of Great Britain. With men all going to war, I suggest that women take on any jobs that were abandoned, help with production and manufacturing. Our national economy must not suffer from this war and our children should not suffer from this dispute. Let men see that we are capable. Let men see that we are as good as them. Let them see that we are able to think wisely and are ready to take part in the voting process, to take part in the government. Also, I suggest that the Women’s Social and Political Union takes the same actions for the benefit of both the country and the organization.
